Richard Taylor was an English naturalist and publisher of scientific journals. He published the first edition of the "Philosophical Magazine" in 1798 and went of to publish the "Annals of Natural History" in 1838. He edited and published "Scientific Memoirs, Selected from the Transactions of Foreign Academies of Science" from 1837 to 1852.
