Ritchie Lawrence McKay is the current head coach of the Liberty University men's basketball team. The Indianapolis, Indiana native was the head coach at the University of New Mexico from 2002 until his firing on February 22, 2007. McKay's father, Joe McKay, was a starter for the Lobo basketball team from 1960-63. During his time at New Mexico, McKay experienced mixed success.
