Rivka Golani (b. Tel Aviv, 1946) is a Canadian violist. Born in Israel, Ms. Golani became a Canadian citizen in 1983. Along with her recording career and worldwide solo performances, she teaches at the Birmingham Conservatoire, and Trinity College of Music, London. She has also taught at the University of Toronto and The Royal Academy of Music in London. Composers have written over 200 works for her, of which more than 50 are concertos. Wikipedia
