Robert William "Rob" Bishop (born July 13 1951) is a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives. He is the representative for the First District of Utah (map). He served on the Rules Committee until the 2006 elections. Bishop was born in Kaysville, Utah, and received a B.A. from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in 1974. He was a teacher and a legislative lobbyist, and was a member of the Utah State House of Representatives from 1979 until 1995. Wikipedia
