Rob McElwee is BBC Weather's longest-serving weather forecaster since the departure of Michael Fish. He presents regular forecasts on BBC News 24, BBC World, BBC Radio 4 and BBC One. He is a main weather presenter on the BBC One O'Clock News. Rob joined the Met Office in 1982 working as a weather observer, spending most of the next eight years observing the weather on the Army Air Corps base of Netheravon on the Salisbury Plain. Wikipedia
