Robert Hale (November 29, 1889 - November 30, 1976) was a U.S. Representative from Maine, cousin of Frederick Hale. Born in Portland, Maine, Hale attended the public schools. He was graduated from Portland High School in 1906, from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine, in 1910, and from Oxford University in England, in 1912. He attended Harvard Law School in 1913 and 1914.
