Robert Ira Lewy, M.D., F.A.C.P. (born October 16, 1943) is an American doctor and philanthropist who has conducted research on aspirin therapy in heart disease and allergic phenomena in recipients of silicone breast implants. Lewy graduated magna cum laude in 1964 from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, majoring in Biology. He was awarded the Roberts Prize in Biology, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
