Robert Remez is a leading American experimental psychologist, cognitive scientist and theoretician. He is best known for his work on perceptual organization, speech perception, and the use of the technique of sinewave synthesis in his experimental and theoretical work. He is the Ann Olin Whitney Professor of Psychology at Barnard College and a member of the Board of Directors of Haskins Laboratories.
