Robin Cook (born May 4 1940 in New York) is an American doctor/novelist who writes about medicine and topics affecting public health. He is noted for several works, including "Toxin", "Outbreak", "The Year of The Intern", and "Fatal Cure". Several of his books have been published by Reader's Digest. A number of Cook's novels, including "Coma" and "Sphinx", have been made into movies. He graduated from Columbia University. Wikipedia
