Ronald (Ron) Tudor Davies, was a football centre-forward who played most of his career for Southampton in the English League Division 1, and also for Wales. Davies was born in Holywell, Flintshire, Wales. He was arguably the best header of the ball there has ever been in English football, and was the top goal scorer in Division 1 for 2 seasons (1966 – 1968). In his first season at Southampton, he scored 12 goals in 10 consecutive league games. Wikipedia
