Ron Masak is an American actor born in Chicago, Illinois in 1936. He began on stage and much of his work is in theater. His first screen role was in an episode of The Twilight Zone in 1960. He is perhaps best known for a recurring role on "Murder, She Wrote" as Sherrif Mort Metzger. In the 1980s and early 1990s, he was dubbed "The King of Commercials" for his voiceover work, most notably for Vlasic Pickles. Wikipedia
