Ronald Henry Atkins (born 13 June 1916) is a British Labour Party politician. At 90 years old, Ronald Atkins is currently the eldest member of Preston City Council, his most recent electoral success coming in Preston local elections 2006 Atkins was educated at Barry County School and London University. He became a teacher at a college of further education and a tutor and lecturer for the National Council of Labour Colleges.
