Ronnie Martin is a musician best known as the sole member of the synthpop outfit Joy Electric, one of the few remaining major bands to model its music after classic electropop. His other works include Dance House Children (a relatively unknown techno/house group comprised of Martin and his brother Jason, who went on to form Starflyer 59), Shepherd (his rock side-project), Rainbow Rider, The Brothers Martin (a pop rock project featuring his brother Jason)and Foxglove Hunt.
