Rudy T. Bozak was a designer and technician in the field of music reproduction. In 1950 he was hired as a consultant by McIntosh Labs to develop a square loudspeaker driver unit - this was not an engineering success. However, in 1952 he was making driver units for the McIntosh F100 speaker system. Although these sold reasonably well, McIntosh did not market further designs. This experience led him to form his own company, Bozak Loudspeakers, in Darien, Connecticut.. Wikipedia
