Ruth Jones (born "circa" 1966 at Porthcawl, Wales) is a bilingual character actress perhaps best known for her performances in British comedy series and films. She was educated at Porthcawl Comprehensive School (where she knew Rob Brydon) and the University of Warwick, graduating in 1988 with a BA in Theatre Studies and Dramatic Arts. She was a member of the National Youth Theatre of Wales during her adolescence, where she appeared in "As You Like It". Wikipedia
