She served as Deputy Director for Management in the Office of Management and Budget from 1999 through 2001, as Deputy Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Deputy Director of the National Economic Council during 1998 and 1999, and as Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Office of Management and Budget from 1993 through 1998.
