Salomon, was king of Brittany, from 857 to his death. Salomon, himself son of Rivallo III, Earl of Poher, became ruler of Brittany after the murder of his cousin, King Erispoe. In 863, Salomon signed the treaty of Entrammes with Charles the Bald, wherein Anjou was recognised as a part of Brittany. He was murdered in 874, and was succeeded by his son-in-law.
