Samuel "Sam" Jones (December 14, 1925-November 5, 1971), known during his career as "Toothpick Sam" Jones or "Sad Sam" Jones, was a Major League Baseball pitcher who played from 1951 to 1964. Born in Stewartsville, Ohio, Jones began his career with the Cleveland Indians in 1951.
