Sass Somekh was born in 1946 in Iraq and moved to Israel at a very young age. Sass completed his Undergraduation in Israel. He completed his Masters and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology. Sass began his career with Bell Labs and stayed with them for five years. After which he joined Intel in 1978. Sass then joined Applied Materials in 1980. Sass Somekh intoduced many successful product lines at Applied Materials. Wikipedia
