Sat Mahajan is the Rural Development Minister of Himachal Pradesh. He was born 27 July 1927 in Nurpur, Kangra District. He is a political and a social worker. He was the Secretary of the Current Affairs Society during his college years. He was the President of the Nurpur Municipal Committee for five consecutive terms.
