Shanjian Li is a Google software engineer. He was born in China and studied computer science in Beijing. Shanjian has exposure to many I18n issues, including encoding detection and conversion, IME, font rendering, text layout. He shares the vision that GWT is one way to bring web application programming from messy hacking arts back to software engineering.
