Sheldon Mayer (April 1, 1917 - December 21, 1991) was an American comic book writer and artist. He is not to be confused with fellow Golden Age comics professional Sheldon Moldoff. He worked at the Fleisher animation studios and the McClure syndicate before becoming the first editor at All-American Comics, a company that was affiliated with and later merged with the publishers of Superman and Batman, National Periodical Publications.
