Shri Shivraj V. Patil (born October 12, 1935) is the Union Home Minister in the Manmohan Singh government. He belongs to the Indian National Congress. Patil was born in 1935 in the village of Chakur in the Latur district of Maharashtra. He became Home Minister in 2004.
