Simon Davey (born 1 October 1970 in Swansea) is the manager of Barnsley. As a player he was a midfielder at Swansea City, Carlisle United, Preston North End and Darlington. He was appointed full-time manager of Barnsley FC on December 31 2006, after a spell as caretaker manager following Andy Ritchie's dismissal.
