Solomon George Haven (November 27, 1810 - December 24, 1861) was a U.S. Representative from New York. Born in Chenango County, New York, Haven attended the common schools and was instructed by a private tutor in the classics. He pursued a course in medicine. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar in 1835 and commenced practice in Buffalo, New York. He served as commissioner of deeds. He served as district attorney of Erie County 1844-1846. Wikipedia
