Sorin Mircea Oprescu (born November 7, 1951 in Bucharest) is a Romanian Social Democratic (PSD) politician and doctor. He has been a senator representing the PSD since 2000 and is currently the vice president of the Senate Committee for Public Health. In February 2006, Oprescu also became the president of the Social Democratic Party's Bucharest branch. Oprescu is divorced. Wikipedia
