Springa

Born David Spring in Quincy, Massachusetts Springa is a writer and singer. From 1981 to 1985 Springa fronted Society System Decontrol aka SSD, a seminal Boston hardcore band that is internationally respected today. SSD toured the US and released two EPs and two albums. SSD's earlier material was raw and loud, espousing the straight edge philosophy. During the last two years of their career they moved in a heavy metal direction that was less critically acclaimed.
