Steve Wilson is Chief Investigative Reporter for WXYZ-TV in Detroit, Michigan. During the early 1990s, he was a former reporter for the syndicated news program "Inside Edition". Wilson came to national prominence in 1998, when, together with his wife and reporting partner Jane Akre, he filed suit against Tampa, Florida Fox television station WTVT, his former employer.
