Sue Carol was an American actress. Carol was born Evelyn Lederer in Chicago, Illinois to Caroline, a German Jewish immigrant, and Samuel Lederer, a Jewish immigrant from Austria. One of the WAMPAS Baby Stars, for eleven years from 1927 to 1937, she performed in motion pictures then became a successful agent.
