Tara Hitchcock (born 1971) is an American journalist and news anchor. She was born in Pennsylvania, the eldest of four daughters. Her family lived in Massachusetts and New Jersey. In 1981, they settled in Plano, Texas, near Dallas. Her parents still live in Plano. Tara attended Boston College and holds a BA in political science and communications.
