Terry Ellis is a British record producer and manager best known for his early work with Jethro Tull, and as co-founder of Chrysalis Records in 1969. Terry Ellis was born in Hertfordshire, England. He graduated from the University of Newcastle on Tyne with an honours degree in Mathematics and Metallurgy. He began booking concerts at colleges on a part time basis in 1967 and later that year he got into business with Chris Wright forming the Ellis-Wright Agency. Wikipedia
