Thomas Edmund Pickell (1950 BS ChE) died Nov. 6, 2002 at the age of 73. A native Houstonian, he was a direct descendent of Alexander Hodge. A retired employee of the City of Houston, he served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army in Korea, umpired for the parks department for many years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as the American Legion. egr.uh.edu
