Thomas Flynn (born 8 July, 1931 is a Roman Catholic bishop of the Diocese of Achonry. Bishop Flynn is the longest serving of all the Irish bishops. He was born in Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon Ireland. He was ordained a priest on 17 June, 1956 for the diocese and was appointed bishop of the diocese on 30 December, 1976.
