Thomas J. Campana Jr. was awarded about 50 patents in his 30 year career. He was a lead inventor on NTP Inc. patents covering a push email technology that NTP claimed was incorporated into Research in Motion's BlackBerry(tm) mobile email devices. NTP took Research in Motion to court in the United States.
