Tom Kelly serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO) for Nextel. As COO, Kelly is responsible for the effective execution of Nextel's business plan and for all aspects of daily operations. Prior to being promoted to COO in February 2003, Mr. Kelly served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer since he began his career with Nextel in 1996.
