Timothy Earl Flannery (Born: September 29, 1957 Tulsa, Oklahoma) is the nephew of former Major League Baseball player Hal Smith. He also spent 11 seasons in the Majors himself, playing from 1979 to 1989 with the San Diego Padres. Before being drafted in the 6th round of the 1978 draft by the Padres, Flannery attended Chapman University.
