Timothy (Tim) Krul (born April 3, 1988 in Den Haag) is a Dutch goalkeeper who currently plays for Newcastle United. He was promoted to the first team in 2006 by manager Glenn Roeder. He signed for Newcastle in July 2005, on a three year deal from ADO Den Haag. He played in the Under-17 European Championship for Holland in Tuscany in May 2005, and has since become the third choice goalkeeper for the Dutch U-21 squad. Wikipedia
