Tom Mankiewicz (born June 1, 1942) is an American screenwriter and director. A graduate of Yale University, he is the son of Joseph L. Mankiewicz and the nephew of Herman J. Mankiewicz. Tom Mankiewicz wrote or co-wrote the screenplays for "Mother Jugs and Speed", "The Cassandra Crossing" and "The Eagle Has Landed".
