Anthony Edward Lowry Britton (born June 9, 1924 in Birmingham), is a veteran English film and television actor known as Tony Britton. He is the father of presenter Fern Britton and actor Jasper Britton. He attended Edgbaston Collegiate School, Birmingham and Thornbury Grammar School, Gloucestershire.
