Uwe Schmidt is a German DJ and producer of electronic music. Schmidt, also known as "Atom Heart", as well as a number of other aliases, produced dance music during the first half of the 90s. In 1994, Schmidt started his own label, "Rather Interesting" with the aim of developing music that doesn't follow the "traditional paths of electronic music". By 1996 he was thoroughly bored by European dance music and moved to Santiago, Chile to explore Latin music. Wikipedia
