Vico Magistretti (October 61920-September 192006) was an Italian industrial designer, known as a furniture designer and architect. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano in 1945, he became a follower of Ernesto Nathan Rogers. He worked initially in urban design in Milan. He then in the 1950s moved into the field of mass-produced furniture and lamps, with designs for the Cassina company that went all over the world.
