Vladek Sheybal (born Władysław Sheybal on 12 March 1923 in Zgierz, Poland, died 16 October 1992 in London, England) was a character actor of the 1950s-1980s. He is probably best known for his performance as the chess grandmaster Kronsteen in the 1963 James Bond film "From Russia with Love" (He had been recommended for the part by his good friend Sean Connery) and as Russian General Bratchenko in "Red Dawn".
