Wan J. Kim Wan J. Kim , ICAS Fellow and Liberty Awardee, was sworn in as the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice on November 9, 2005. Immediately prior to his nomination, Wan served as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Division.
