William Buehler Seabrook (February 22 1884-1945) was an American Lost Generation occultist, explorer, traveller, and journalist, born in Westminster, Maryland. He began his career as a reporter and City Editor of the "Augusta Chronicle" in Georgia. He later became a partner in an advertising agency in Atlanta. In 1915 he joined the French Army in what was to become The Great War. He was gassed at Verdun in 1916, and was later awarded the Croix de Guerre. Wikipedia
