William Drayton (1733- May 18, 1790) was an American lawyer and jurist from South Carolina. In 1790 he was appointed to the Federal bench, and was the first judge for the United States District Court for South Carolina. His son, William Drayton, became a Congressman for South Carolina. Wikipedia
