William Rees Rush (19 September 1857 - 2 August 1940) was an officer in the United States Navy during the Spanish-American War and a Medal of Honor recipient. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Rush took the oath of office as a midshipman on 6 June 1872; graduated from the Naval Academy on 20 June 1877; and was commissioned ensign on 15 October 1881.
