Willie Hall is an American drummer. Hall was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He is the father of rapper Project Pat. A protégé of Booker T. & the MGs drummer Al Jackson, Jr., Hall played with both The Bar-Kays and Isaac Hayes's band The Movement. In the seventies, he backed dozens of major Stax artists on recordings, including on Isaac Hayes' "Hot Buttered Soul" (1969) and "Theme from Shaft" (1971) albums, and on several Albert King albums.
