Winnie Holzman (born in 1954 in New York City) is an American writer. She is best known as the creator of "My So-Called Life" which originally aired on ABC. Holzman earned an Emmy Award nomination for writing in 1995 for "My So-Called Life". She also wrote for the shows "thirtysomething" and "Once and Again".
