Wong Kan Seng (born 1946) is the Minister for Home Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore. He is also the Leader of the House in the Parliament of Singapore and nephew-in-law of Singapore's first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew. Wong was credited for his highly successful handling of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) crisis in 2003.
