Yishan. Manchu official and member of the Qing imperial clan. Yishan belonged to the Bordered Blue Banner in the Eight Banners and was a great-great-grandson of Yinti, who was outmaneuvered by the Yongzheng emperor. He held a number of military posts in the Qing government. Yishan is known for his role commanding troops during the First Opium War and his failure to defend Guangzhou against British troops.
